The NAAVI Digit Symbol subtest is from the Neuropsychological Assessment of Adults with Visual Impairment (NAAVI) Kit (31736) that can be purchased individually.
NAAVI Digit Symbol involves decoding shapes based on a supplied code, a skill used in Braille and other tasks where structured symbolic patterns are used. The subtest consists of two plastic boards with various shapes with and without code on the surface. The NAAVI Tray (31736Y) should be used with this subtest to hold key and stimulus.

The NAAVI Tray (31736Y), sold separately from 31736D (gray tray holding plastic boards shown in picture above), should also be purchased to hold the key and stimulus.
If purchasing the NAAVI Digit Symbol subtest separate from the NAAVI Kit (without having access to a NAAVI Kit), the NAAVI Manual (31736M) should also be purchased to obtain normative scores and the Digit Symbol Subtest Record Form (reproducible from the manual).
