The MEMRY is the first nationally-standardized rating tool to measure everyday memory, learning, and executive aspects of memory (including working memory) in youth.  It uses multiple perspectives on memory capacity, including Parent, Teacher and Self.

The MEMRY integrates easily into busy clinical settings, helping to identify individuals in need of specialized referral in cognitive, psychoeducational and neuropsychological assessments.  It allows clinicians to differentiation between problems caused by memory failures, versus failures due to problems with working memory an attention, a common referral questions.  It also provides intervention recommendations, based on MEMRY scores.

It offers distinct information not provided by objective memory tests.  While objective tests capture performance efficiency under optimal conditions, rating scales capture frequency in typical conditions.  Everyday memory is facilitated be semantic associations, environmental cues, and emotional saliency, and occurs alongside normal distractions. The MEMRY format makes it ecologically valid, and more true to real-life situations.

The MEMRY provides an Overall Score, the Everyday Memory Index (EMI), as well as tapping Learning, Daily Memory, Executive/Working Memory, and has three Validity Scales.  It was co-normed with the Child and Adolescent Memory Profile (ChAMP) and Memory Validity Profile (MVP).

The MEMRY Kit includes 25 each of the Parent, Teacher and Self-Report Forms; and Parent, Teacher and Self-Report Scoring Summary Forms, and the Professional Manual with Fast Guide.
