The Elevated Plus-Maze is used to assess anxiety-like behavior in laboratory animals The maze exploits the conflict between the innate fear that rodents have of open areas versus their desire to explore novel environments.Open Arms are equipped with a height-adjustable rim to minimize falls. The lip or rim can be adjusted from 0 to 15mm (see image below).

• Available in 2 colors - Light or Dark Grey.  Choose the light-gray maze for dark animals or the dark-gray maze for light animals. Doing so will maximize the contrast between the animal and the background optimizing tracking.
• Height Adjustable Rim or Lip on the open arms to minimize falls and to provide optional thigmotactic cues. 
• Closed arm walls are held solidly in slotted base, but lift off for easy cleaning. 
• Walls and Base are non reflective for better tracking.
• Textured, no-slip floor reduces reflections and allows animals to confidently move about the maze
• Removable walls and legs mean the maze can be stored flat when not in used.
